Our team is currently seeking an experienced caregiver for a male client in Berghem, Netherlands.

As a caregiver in The Netherlands, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on life and well-being of our client. Your empathy, patience, and exceptional caregiving skills will play a crucial role in ensuring his comfort, safety, and quality of life.

Care is needed for a man who suffered from a high spinal cord injury over 12 years ago which has left him with severe mobility problems and wheelchair bound. He is living with his wife and small child in their family home in Berghem Netherlands.

As Mr. has been in need of care for the past 12 years, they have much experience with live-in care and have made the necessary adjustments to the home to make the care as easy as possible for the client. There is a passive hoist installed in the home which can take the client from the bedroom to the bathroom, or to the living room for example. It is there for important that the carer has experience with a passive hoist. They also have an alarm bel that he can press when he is in need of there carer assistance or if there is an emergency. This way the carer will be able to relax in their own space, while not worrying if they will hear the client.

Requirements:

– availability for minimum 3 months

– knowledge and experience of elderly care

– conversational knowledge of English language

– driving licence (not mandatory but a plus)

– motivated, resourceful, proactive person

Offer:

– Dutch contract for a definite periode of time

– free accommodation and meals (job is internal / live-in)

– salary: €2.050,00 net per month

– the caretaker will have his/her own room with the necessary facilities and internet access

– 2 days off per week and daily breaks

Responsibilities:

– Patient care

– light housekeeping

– simple cooking

Other caregiver benefits:

– Ongoing protection and advice at work

– paid cumulated leave according to Dutch legislation (approx. 2 paid holiday days for each month worked)

– cumulated holiday money / 8 % annual payment according to Dutch legislation (this payment is made in May or at the end of the contract)

– Payment of health insurance (of € 154,20) in the Netherlands
